Maggie Ayres

Having had a mini critique with my major project, my peers told me to explore the work of Maggie Ayres, who is a textile artist, I find the use of material she uses interesting as creates femoral subjects. Layering intricate lines to create a depth of detail. I find the colour pallet she has used in "Sense of Healing" is realistic creating a fleshy substance which could possibly reflect the human body. The title itself is suggestive to a bruise or cut, inflict upon the body.
